A local-AI meetup at Soho on the Strand in Gzira, digging into how AI handles Maltese from both the engineering and the linguistics side. Two speakers lead it: Simon, a software engineer working on agentic AI, on using it to help preserve a language; and Iona, founder of edtech startup Verbivore, on the limits and creativity of building tools for low-resource languages.
