Acclaimed Maltese pianist Alexei Galea Cavallazzi takes on two giants of the repertoire in the grand La Valette Hall at Valletta's Mediterranean Conference Centre, moving from Mozart's elegant fantasies into Beethoven's darker, deeply expressive writing. The recital closes on the famous Moonlight Sonata. It suits classical fans and anyone after a calm, cultured evening in beautiful surroundings, an unhurried night out in the capital.
