Pomelia Jazz Trio brings together an expressive vocalist, a lyrical accordionist, and a dynamic double bassist, three musicians united by a deep connection to jazz and the versatility to move effortlessly across its many shades. For this special JazzKlabb evening, they turn their attention to bossa nova, paying homage to the incomparable Antônio Carlos Jobim. Their programme draws on Brazilian classics and the refined sensibility of Italian bossa nova from the 1960s, resulting in a sound that is warm, intimate, and quietly sophisticated.
