Light in Blue

This event forms part of the Student Summer Programme. On 18th August, at 10:00am at MUŻA , young people aged 12 and over are invited to take part in Light in Blue . This creative workshop explores photography as technology and as an artistic medium, introducing participants to the fascinating world of analogue photography. During the session, participants will have the opportunity to handle vintage cameras and film while learning about traditional photographic processes, before taking part in hands-on experimentation with cyanotype printing and collage techniques. Combining history, creativity, and practical exploration, this workshop offers a unique opportunity to discover how photographic images were created before the digital age while producing original works of art inspired by these historical methods. The participation fee is €10 and includes one accompanying adult. Tickets can be purchased online here or from Heritage Malta museums and sites.
