Malta Contemporary Art Prize

Arteaportè opens a new frontier of contemporary art and lands in Gozo for the second time, with an international exhibition realised in collaboration with ArtHall Gallery. The exclusive Con/Temporary Spaces ArtHall will host the collective exhibition Malta Contemporary Art Prize, an exhibition project dedicated to the most current contemporary artistic practices in dialogue with the unique atmosphere of the Maltese island. The exhibition was created with the aim of bringing together international artists, contemporary languages and one of the most evocative places in the Mediterranean, transforming Gozo into a space for exchange, experimentation and cultural connection.

Painting, photography, sculpture, digital art, installation and hybrid techniques will coexist within an exhibition that celebrates the plurality of contemporary artistic practices and freedom of expression. Malta Contemporary Art Prize aims to be an open reflection on the role of art today: a space where different sensibilities can meet, interact and build new visual narratives within an international and dynamic context.
