Marċ ta' Gedrin

Join us for one of the most exciting nights of the Santa Marija celebrations in Gozo with Marċ Ta’ Gedrin. The evening opens with a lively street march led by the Leone Band and La Vittoria Band of Mellieħa. Starting from Triq Gedrin, the procession moves through Triq Sant’Ursola, into Pjazza Savina, across Independence Square, and down Republic Street toward the Leone Band Club. At midnight, the night reaches its peak with festive marches, audiovisual entertainment, synchronised fireworks, aerial displays launched from the Band Club rooftop, and a street party outside the club on Republic Street. It’s a unique chance for locals and visitors to soak up the colour, atmosphere, and tradition of a true Gozitan festa in the heart of Victoria.
