Secrets of the Pond

This event forms part of the Student Summer Programme. On 5th September , from 9:00am to 10:30am at Għar Dalam Cave and Museum , children aged 6 and over are invited to take part in Secrets of the Pond . This exciting nature-themed activity introduces participants to the fascinating world of ponds, where frogs, fish, insects, plants, and many other creatures live and interact. Children will discover the differences between natural and artificial ponds, learn about the various plants and animals that call these habitats home, and explore how each living thing plays an important role in the pond ecosystem. Through observation and discovery, participants will gain a greater appreciation of the tiny creatures and hidden wonders that make ponds such magical environments. The participation fee is €10 and includes one accompanying adult. Tickets can be purchased online here or from Heritage Malta museums and sites.
