The Scenographer's Opera

This exhibition celebrates Joseph Cauchi’s remarkable 30-year journey as the opera scenographer. Showcasing his acclaimed sets designed for the theatre’s major opera productions, the exhibition offers a unique insight into the creativity, craftsmanship, and dedication behind some of the Teatru Astra’s most memorable stagings, while paying tribute to Cauchi’s longstanding leadership of the theatre’s volunteer-based scenography team. The official opening takes place at 11:00 on the 18th of  October.
