Touch Nature

Especially adapted to children and youths on the neurodiverse spectrum, this bilingual workshop explores the effect of sunlight on nature. Participants will discover how plants grow and how animal behaviour is influenced by the movement of the sun. There will be hands-on sensory experiences, such as feeling the different textures of leaves. The session will conclude with a creative art activity where participants use sunlight to create unique artworks inspired by the natural world. The workshop will be held on 15th July 2026, from 09:00 to 10:30 , at the National Museum of Natural History, Mdina , and is recommended for participants aged 8 and over. Tickets are free of charge and can be obtained online here or from any Heritage Malta museum or site.
